He attends multiple national and international neurosurgical conferences yearly and maintains his membership with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Koebbe has received highly specialized training in neurovascular brain surgery, complex spine surgery and trauma.  He is a true expert in his field of brain surgery including blood clot removal, aneurysm care, stroke intervention, tumor removal, trigeminal neuralgia treatment, hydrocephalus care, chiari malformation management, as well as spine surgery, both minimally invasive robotic and traditional open surgery. Dr. Koebbe is also known to be one of the leading surgeons in the region utilizing artificial disc replacement and is one of the only surgeons in the state to perform a hybrid disc replacement and fusion procedure!
