Dr. Silvia Baxter is a board-certified neurosurgeon with a focus on minimally invasive techniques and patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College, graduating cum laude for her academic excellence and community involvement. She went on to earn her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where she helped establish the school’s first student-run clinic serving the local underserved population and received recognition for her work in trauma, critical care, and surgery.
Dr. Baxter completed her neurosurgery internship and residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, where she earned multiple awards for academic achievement and clinical research. She later pursued fellowship training in endovascular neurosurgery at the University of Utah, specializing in the minimally invasive treatment of vascular conditions affecting the brain and spine.
